Serenity Thompson Deputy Director of Digital Services | State of California DMV
The California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) has announced the reopening of its Fall River Mills office on July 1. The office, located at 43467 Highway 299E, will resume operations at 8 a.m. after being closed since June 12 for painting and general maintenance.
The DMV emphasizes that most transactions can be completed online, thus saving customers a trip to the office. They encourage the use of their digital services for tasks such as driver's license and vehicle registration renewals. The Service Advisor tool on the DMV website is available to help customers determine how to complete various DMV tasks.
To receive paperless notices for vehicle registration and driver's license renewals, customers need to create or log into a secure online account at dmv.ca.gov and opt in.
