A house in Duxbury, Massachusetts, once home to a family of five, has become the site of a tragic event. Lindsay Clancy, a nurse, killed her three children and attempted suicide in the residence. Her husband, Patrick Clancy, discovered the scene on January 24, 2023. The children—Cora, Dawson, and Callan—were pronounced dead shortly after. Lindsay survived but was left paralyzed.

Patrick Clancy has since moved to Manhattan and recently shared his perspective with The New Yorker. He stated that his wife was suffering from anxiety and insomnia related to her pregnancy with Callan. “I wasn’t married to a monster—I was married to someone who got sick,” he said.

Lindsay Clancy faces charges including murder and assault. Her defense attorney plans an insanity defense, while prosecutors argue premeditation.

The family home has been sold to an anonymous buyer. Patrick remarked on the sale: “There’s no house anymore... All that’s left is me and Lindsay.” Before selling the house, he distributed his children's belongings to friends in the neighborhood.

The property features updates such as hardwood floors and a remodeled kitchen. It sits on nearly an acre of land in a town known for its school system and beach access.
