Florida residents can get multi-policy insurance discounts by purchasing a homeowner’s policy from Tower Hill and an auto policy from Safeco.

The non-affiliated carriers begin this marketing partnership in November, letting a Tower Hill customer add a Safeco auto policy, or a Safeco customer add a Tower Hill homeowner’s policy. Both carriers will apply a discount.

“Both Tower Hill and Safeco champion independent agents, put customers first and prioritize innovation. So this marketing partnership is a natural way for each of us to better serve our independent agents and policyholders,” Don Matz, Tower Hill’s president, told PR Newswire. “Tower Hill was founded in 1972 and today is one of Florida’s largest residential property insurers. Over the years more than 2 million customers have trusted Tower Hill to protect their homes and businesses, and we expect this partnership to continue that growth.”

“We couldn’t be more energized about the opportunity,” Debra Pooley, Southeast Region Field Executive at Safeco, told PR Newswire.

Policyholders with either company can ask their insurance agent with Tower Hill or Safeco about the multi-policy discount.

Safeco offers other discount programs such as the RightTrack Mobile program, offering savings for safe drivers. A 90-day driving period enables eligible customers to get a premium discount up to 30% for the life of their policy.

Together, both teams have worked hard over the last year to make this trailblazing concept a reality. As Mrs. Pooley shared, Safeco Insurance already has several innovative programs available for Florida customers, including the RightTrack® Mobile program, which provides a savings opportunity for safe drivers. After a 90-day driving period, eligible customers receive a premium discount, up to 30%, for the life of the policy.

Safeco has been in business since 1923. The carrier sells personal auto, homeowners and specialty products through more than 10,000 independent insurance agencies in the United States.
