Amica has achieved the top ranking in both the Homeowners Insurance and Renters Insurance categories in the J.D. Power 2025 U.S. Home Insurance Study. This marks the first time the company has secured first place in both categories at the same time. According to the study, Amica’s score for Homeowners Insurance increased by 26 points to 705, while its Renters Insurance score rose by 16 points to 711, both measured on a 1,000-point scale compared to last year.

The study evaluates several aspects of insurance service. Amica received the highest ratings in six out of seven areas: Product/Coverage Offerings; Problem Resolution; Digital Channels; People; Trust; and Ease of Doing Business. This is Amica’s twenty-first first-place finish in the Homeowners category and its first top ranking for Renters Insurance.

Ted Shallcross, president and CEO of Amica, said, “We’re honored to have received these awards. in addition to the first-place ranking in the J.D. Power 2025 U.S. Auto Insurance Satisfaction Study for New England earlier this year. This recognition demonstrates that Amica continues to earn customer trust, reflecting our employees’ commitment to delivering quality products and services.”

Amica Mutual has previously earned high scores in similar studies conducted by J.D. Power from 2002-2019, as well as in 2021, 2022, and now again in 2025 for customer satisfaction with home insurers. More information can be found at jdpower.com/awards.
