Amica named among America’s best insurance companies by Forbes for fifth consecutive year

Amica has been recognized by Forbes as one of America’s Best Insurance Companies for 2026. The announcement was made on September 16, 2025, and the award is presented by Forbes in partnership with Statista Inc., a global provider of statistics and industry rankings.

Ted Shallcross, President and CEO of Amica, commented on the recognition: “Although Amica’s insurance products are fundamentally similar to those provided by competitors, it’s our service philosophy that distinguishes us in the industry. They listen to the needs of our policyholders and provide them with the best products and services to meet their needs.”

The selection process for America's Best Insurance Companies 2026 involved an independent survey of more than 15,000 U.S. residents who have at least one insurance policy. Participants rated their insurers based on overall recommendation, satisfaction, and six specific areas: financial advice, customer service, price/performance ratio, transparency, digital services, and damage/benefit ratio. The survey also included questions to determine customer loyalty and how long they have stayed with their insurer.

Amica ranked within the top six across all major subcategories including homeowners, renters, auto, permanent life, and term life insurance. This marks the fifth consecutive year that Amica has received this distinction from Forbes.
