The American Council of Life Insurers (ACLI) recognized 25 graduates of its 2025 Rising Leader program during the organization's annual conference in Nashville, Tennessee. The program, which spans a year, is designed to prepare participants for leadership roles within the life insurance industry.

David Chavern, ACLI President and CEO, stated, “The Rising Leader program equips industry professionals with the skills needed to support the industry's work helping Americans’ build greater financial and retirement security. We commend these future leaders for their achievements over the past year and thank them for their dedication to the industry and its policyholders.”

The Rising Leader program selects participants from a competitive pool of applicants who are employees of ACLI member companies. The initiative offers access to a broad network of experienced professionals, opportunities for engagement with ACLI leadership, and resources focused on professional development and leadership training.

ACLI represents the life insurance industry in policy and advocacy matters. According to the organization, 90 million American families depend on the life insurance sector for financial protection and retirement security. Its 275 member companies account for 93 percent of the industry’s assets in the United States.
