Governor Newsom to discuss climate and democracy at Climate Week events

California Governor Gavin Newsom is scheduled to participate in two fireside chats tomorrow during Climate Week in New York. The events will focus on climate change, democracy, and potential solutions for the future.

The first discussion will take place at approximately 6:45 a.m. PST with President Clinton at the Clinton Foundation’s annual Clinton Global Initiative 2025 meeting. The session will be available via the Clinton Global Initiative live stream.

Later in the day, at around 11 a.m. PST, Governor Newsom will join New York Times journalist David Gelles for a conversation at Climate Forward, an event hosted by the New York Times. This session can be viewed through the New York Times livestream, which requires free registration.
