Paul Tupy from Oroville has been appointed as the Director of the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control. Tupy has a long history with the department, having served in various capacities since 2009. His role will require Senate confirmation, and he will receive a compensation of $226,602.
Andrew Rakestraw from Kensington has been reappointed as Chair of the Board of Environmental Safety. Rakestraw's experience includes significant roles at the United States Department of State related to climate negotiations. His position also requires Senate confirmation with a compensation package of $192,189.
