Coleen Solomon Field Operations Deputy Director | State of California DMV
The California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) has announced the reopening of its Petaluma office on March 11 at 8 a.m. The office, located at 715 Southpoint Blvd., Suite J, was temporarily closed on February 21 for painting and floor replacement.
The DMV encourages customers to explore online services before visiting an office. Many tasks can be completed digitally, eliminating the need for in-person visits. Online services include eligible driver’s license and vehicle registration renewals. Customers can also utilize the Service Advisor on the DMV website to determine their options for completing various DMV tasks.
To receive paperless vehicle registration and driver’s license renewal notices, customers should create or sign into a secure online account at dmv.ca.gov and opt-in for this service.
