The amendment to Subject 120-3-3 aims to update the state's minimum fire safety standards as outlined in Code Section 25-2-4. The changes are intended to establish procedures and requirements that prevent loss of life and property due to fire, panic, explosions, or related hazards in buildings and structures. These updates are designed to address advancements in technology and procedural changes that necessitate regulatory adjustments.

For Subject 120-3-7, the amendment seeks to align Georgia's regulations with national manufactured housing construction and safety standards. It also aims to provide mechanisms for remedial actions and enforcement of these standards.
