Governor Newsom to sign $2.5 billion relief package for Los Angeles

Governor Gavin Newsom is set to sign a significant relief package for Los Angeles County today. The $2.5 billion legislation aims to bolster response and recovery efforts in the region. Newsom will be accompanied by Assembly Speaker Robert Rivas, Senate pro Tempore Mike McGuire, as well as other legislators and local leaders.

The signing event is scheduled for Thursday, January 23 at approximately 3:30 p.m. It will be livestreamed on the Governor's Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube pages. Additionally, TV stations can access the event via the LiveU Matrix under "California Governor."
