State Farm has announced its participation as a launch partner in OpenAI’s Frontier platform, aiming to enhance the use of artificial intelligence (AI) within its operations. The company intends to use AI technology to support agents and employees, with the objective of improving service for its customers.

Joe Park, Executive Vice President & Chief Digital Information Officer at State Farm, stated, “As part of our commitment to building a culture centered on speed, agility, and innovation, we are participating in OpenAI’s Frontier platform. Our goal: strengthen the capabilities of State Farm agents and employees so they can provide best-in-class service to our customers.”

The insurer manages over 96 million policies and accounts. State Farm emphasizes that providing prompt and clear support during unexpected events remains a priority while maintaining the personal interaction that characterizes its service.

According to the company, using AI tools is expected to help solve business challenges more efficiently and keep customer needs at the forefront. The organization also highlighted its ongoing commitment to data privacy and security as it begins exploring this new relationship with OpenAI.

Park added, “While we are just beginning to explore this relationship, our intention is to implement capabilities over time with rigorous security and oversight. Our standards for privacy, security, and accountability remain unchanged.”
