The National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies (NAMIC) is set to hold two virtual press briefings during its Annual Convention in San Diego. These sessions will give reporters the opportunity to engage with industry leaders about key challenges facing insurers and policyholders.

According to NAMIC, issues such as rising litigation, increased regulatory action, and more severe disasters are having significant impacts on consumers, communities, and the economy. “Rising litigation, regulatory overreach, and worsening disasters are hitting consumers, communities, and the broader economy. NAMIC leaders are prepared to answer media questions on the industry’s role in addressing these urgent issues,” a statement from the association said.

NAMIC represents more than 1,300 member companies ranging from local mutual insurers to some of the largest national carriers. Its members provide insurance coverage for millions of homeowners, drivers, and businesses across the United States. The organization works on public policy initiatives aimed at strengthening how insurers serve their policyholders.

For media inquiries or to RSVP for the briefings, contact Lauren Anderson, Media & External Relations Director at NAMIC.
