California First Partner Jennifer Siebel Newsom will join Olympic and World Cup Champion Brandi Chastain for Move Your Body, Calm Your Mind Day. The event will take place at a Boys & Girls Club in San Mateo County, with nearly 250 children participating. The day aims to highlight the importance of movement, mindfulness, and play, with interactive activities for the children.

Participants can choose to engage in physical activities like pickleball, soccer, and Zumba. Additionally, there will be opportunities for mindfulness through crafts and yoga sessions.

The event starts on Thursday, May 1, at 3:50 p.m., and is intended to be an in-person gathering. Credentialed media interested in attending must RSVP by 1 p.m. on May 1, with location details provided upon confirmation.

The event underlines a commitment to promoting both physical and mental well-being among children through enjoyable and mindful activities.
