Today, Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner John F. King announced the arrest of Cassius Aijalon Livingston, 28, of Milan. This arrest is part of an arson investigation related to a fire at Thunderbird Oil Company in Telfair County on February 3, 2025.

Investigators found that the fire damage was concentrated near the structure’s front window. The fire was classified as incendiary after determining the origin area and obtaining surveillance footage. The business suffered significant destruction due to the fire.

“On Monday, April 14, 2025, in a joint effort between the State Fire Marshal’s office and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), Livingston was arrested and charged with first-degree Arson,” said Commissioner King. “The investigation remains ongoing, and additional arrests are expected at this time.”

The public is encouraged to provide information by calling the 24/7 Georgia Arson Control Hotline at 1-800-282-5804. A reward of up to $10,000 is offered for information leading to arrests and prosecutions. Callers can remain anonymous.
