A partnership with Kangaroo gives customers of Kin access to free home security solutions and 24/7 professional monitoring services that make them eligible for premium discounts.

A doorbell camera, chine, water + climate sensor and a motion + entry sensor are supplied through the partnership, Insurance Innovation Reporter reported.

Policyholders can install the Kangaroo system themselves as it doesn’t require hardwiring.

“We’re incredibly excited and proud to partner with the Kin team to provide even more value and assurance for their policyholders,” Dhruv Garg, co-founder and president, Kangaroo, told Insurance Innovation Reporter. “We designed Kangaroo to provide best-in-class affordability, simplicity, and security, helping our partners to reach their goals and serve their customers.”

Kangaroo’s pricing helps customers gain risk mitigation tools.
