At the Catastrophe Claims Village, policyholders can meet with insurance professionals to file claims or get answers to insurance-related questions. The village will feature representatives from the Georgia Department of Insurance and major insurance carriers.

Commissioner King’s Criminal Investigations Division members will also be present to investigate potential fraudulent activities and educate residents on protecting themselves from post-disaster insurance scams.

The event details are as follows:

Augusta Claims Village:

– Dates: Thursday, 10/03/2024 (10:00 AM – 7:00 PM) and Friday, 10/04/2024 (10:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
