Governor Gavin Newsom is set to provide an update on California’s high-speed rail project during his visit to the Central Valley. This marks his sixth stop on the California Jobs First tour. The announcement will be made alongside High Speed Rail Authority CEO Ian Choudri, local leaders, and workers.

The event is scheduled for Monday, January 6, at approximately 3 p.m. It will be livestreamed on the California High Speed Rail Authority’s YouTube channel.

Attendance is limited to credentialed media who must RSVP by 10 a.m. on January 6 to receive location details.
