SACRAMENTO – Governor Gavin Newsom today announced the signing of several new bills into law.

The signed legislation includes:

– AB 453 by Assemblymember Sabrina Cervantes (D-Riverside) concerning district-based elections.
– AB 1849 by Assemblymember Tim Grayson (D-Concord) related to the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act, specifically addressing services and repairs for travel trailers and motor homes.
– AB 1861 by Assemblymember Dawn Addis (D-Morro Bay) focusing on pest control, particularly Pierce’s disease.
– AB 1966 by Assemblymember Laurie Davies (R-Laguna Niguel) which mandates human trafficking notices for primary ticket sellers.
– AB 1996 by Assemblymember Juan Alanis (R-Modesto) requiring opioid antagonists and overdose training at stadiums, concert venues, and amusement parks.
– AB 2556 by Assemblymember Dr. Corey Jackson (D-Moreno Valley) dealing with behavioral health and wellness screenings notifications.
– AB 2631 by Assemblymember Mike Fong (D-Alhambra), which involves ethics training for local agencies.
