First Partner Jennifer Siebel Newsom will release a report with recommendations to enhance support for survivors of sexual assault. Joined by advocates from government, public health, law enforcement, the judiciary, and various advocacy organizations, Siebel Newsom will present the final findings from the Working Group on Support for Survivors of Sexual Assault.

This initiative began in 2023 when the First Partner formed the Working Group to devise a more compassionate, just, and effective response to incidents of sexual violence. The presentation is scheduled for Tuesday, April 15, at 10 a.m.

The event can be watched via a livestream on First Partner Jennifer Siebel Newsom’s Instagram account. It will be an in-person press event that is open only to credentialed media. Those interested in attending are required to RSVP by 7:30 a.m. on April 15. Specific location details will be provided after confirmation.
