Farmers Insurance has announced it will hire more than 100 new employees across Grand Rapids, Michigan; Kansas City, Kansas; Phoenix, Arizona; and Warwick, Rhode Island. The positions are for Direct Sales roles that involve offering car, home, renters insurance and other products.

The company is seeking individuals who are customer-focused and driven. The jobs are hybrid positions, allowing employees to work both in-office and remotely each week. According to Russell VanBeber, Head of Direct-to-Consumer Sales for Farmers, “We’re seeking ambitious professionals who thrive in fast-paced, high-performance environments. Those who know how to connect with people, listen, communicate, and solve problems with empathy are positioned to thrive in these roles.”

These sales positions come with a competitive base salary as well as commission potential and comprehensive benefits. Farmers is interested in candidates from all backgrounds but encourages those with sales experience in retail, hospitality or other customer-oriented industries to apply.

No prior insurance experience is required for applicants. New hires will receive paid training and sponsorship for the necessary insurance licensing.

The benefits package includes a competitive base salary and commission structure, a 401(k) retirement plan with company contributions, medical, dental and vision coverage, paid time off and holidays as well as tuition assistance.

Interested candidates can find more information or apply through the Farmers Insurance careers page.
