Erie Insurance has been named to the Forbes list of “America’s Best Large Employers 2026.” The annual ranking is produced in partnership with Statista, a firm specializing in statistics and industry rankings.

The recognition is based on an independent survey of over 200,000 employees at U.S. companies with at least 1,000 workers. Participants rated their employers on aspects such as workplace culture, compensation, opportunities for advancement, and whether they would recommend their employer.

Sean Dugan, executive vice president of Human Resources and Corporate Services at Erie Insurance, stated: “We’re honored to be recognized on the Forbes list of America’s Best Large Employers 2026. For more than 100 years, ERIE has been built around people — our employees, independent agents and policyholders. This recognition reflects the culture our employees help create every day to be Above all in Service.”

Forbes considered more than 3.5 million evaluations when compiling the final rankings. The methodology included both direct feedback from employees and publicly available data.

Erie Insurance has also appeared on other Forbes lists such as America’s Best Companies, America’s Best Insurance Companies, America’s Best Employers for New Grads 2025, and America’s Best-In-State Employers.
