Erie Insurance has received four 2025 GEN IMPACT Awards from the Global ERG Network (GEN) for its employee resource groups. The company’s African American Affinity Network, Dignity & Respect Affinity Network, and Pride Alliance Affinity Network were recognized as “Top 3 ERGs for Community Impact, Workforce Education and Culture of Inclusion.” Additionally, the Veterans Affinity Network was named among the “Top 10 Enterprise-Wide ERGs and Councils.”

Leaders from these affinity networks will be acknowledged at the GEN Annual Conference in November in Tucson, Arizona.

“We’re honored that our Employee Resource Groups have been recognized with Global ERG Network IMPACT Awards,” said Aaysha Noor, Erie Insurance’s vice president for Inclusion and Belonging. “Our Affinity Networks are vital engines of insight, connection and progress that help us understand diverse perspectives and cultivate an inclusive environment that drives our business forward.”

Since the program began in 2020, several Erie Insurance affinity networks have previously received Impact Awards.

“Through our affinity networks, ERIE employees turn passion into purpose and create space for all voices and perspectives,” said Christy Blashock, Corporate Sustainability & Community Development Officer at Erie Insurance. “We are deeply honored by this recognition of their efforts. It affirms the extraordinary work our affinity networks do to foster a culture of inclusion and belonging.”

The awards use the ERG Strategic Impact Model to evaluate organizational results across key areas. According to GEN’s criteria, winners were selected from hundreds of submissions.

GEN is managed by Tapestry Partner Solutions, which focuses on systems that improve retention, belonging, and leadership development. Anna Ettin, executive officer at Tapestry Partner Solutions stated: “Honorees exemplify bold, systems-level thinking and community-driven impact through the six pillars of IMPACT: Innovate, Measure, Progress, Activate, Collaborate and Transform. These groups are innovating and elevating business performance, deepening workplace belonging and strengthening communities. The GEN IMPACT Awards honor the depth of their strategies and the strength of their execution.”
