Erie Insurance has been included on the Forbes list of America’s Best Insurance Companies 2026. The company received recognition in several product categories, such as auto, homeowners, renters, term life, and permanent life insurance.

The rankings were developed by Forbes in partnership with Statista, Inc., using an independent survey of over 18,000 U.S. policyholders. Survey participants evaluated their insurers based on customer satisfaction, loyalty, and likelihood to recommend the company. They also rated six aspects of service: advice, customer service, price-to-performance ratio, transparency, digital services, and claims handling.

“To be among the best insurers in the nation is truly an honor,” said Sarah Shine, executive vice president, Experience and Customer Service at Erie Insurance. “This recognition reflects the loyalty and trust our customers place in ERIE and the importance of providing a personal touch when it is needed most.”

In addition to this recent acknowledgment from Forbes for 2026, Erie Insurance was previously recognized in 2025 on several other Forbes lists: America’s Best-In-State Employers 2025, America’s Best Large Employers 2025, and America’s Best Employers for New Grads 2025.
