The California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) has announced the relocation of its Reedley office. The current office, located at 558 E. Dinuba Ave., will close at noon on Friday, February 7. Operations will resume at a new site, 1890 E. Dinuba Ave., starting at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, February 26.

The new facility is significantly larger, offering 13,205 square feet of space to better accommodate all customers, including those with disabilities. It also provides expanded parking options for visitors.

During the transition period, DMV customers are advised to visit nearby offices in Fresno, Clovis, Hanford, and Fresno North. These locations range from 27 to 32 miles away from the current Reedley office.

In an effort to enhance customer convenience, the DMV has expanded its digital services. Many tasks that previously required an office visit can now be completed online. This includes simple self-service transactions no longer available in physical offices. The DMV encourages individuals to utilize these online services for tasks such as driver’s license and vehicle registration renewals.

Customers interested in receiving paperless notices for vehicle registration and driver’s license renewals can do so by creating a secure online account and registering at dmv.ca.gov.
