Amica Mutual Insurance Company has announced a multiyear partnership with Penn State Athletics, becoming the official auto, home, and life insurance partner for the university’s athletic programs.

The agreement was arranged by Playfly Sports, which holds multimedia rights for Penn State Athletics. As part of the deal, Amica will have its logo featured on one of two apron field logo assets at West Shore Home Field at Beaver Stadium. The partnership also includes premium signage across other athletic facilities and exclusive entitlements for football team arrival and signing day events.

Amica aims to engage with the extensive Penn State fan base, which includes 107,000 attendees at each football game and millions more following through television and radio broadcasts. Penn State’s athletics program is known for hosting hundreds of events annually and claims a nationwide fanbase exceeding 15 million people. The university is also recognized for its large alumni network.

“This new partnership with Penn State Athletics allows Amica to strengthen our presence in Pennsylvania by connecting with and supporting Penn State’s powerhouse athletic programs,” said Ted Shallcross, President and CEO of Amica. “As an organization deeply committed to excellence, we’re thrilled to engage with Penn State’s passionate fan base.”

“Amica’s mission to create peace of mind and build enduring relationships closely aligns with the values that unite the Penn State community,” said Daniel Solomon, Vice President, Corporate Partnerships, Penn State Sports Enterprises. “Enduring relationships are at the heart of who we are, which makes this partnership a natural fit. We’re proud to welcome Amica as a partner, and to feature their logo on the field at iconic West Shore Home Field at Beaver Stadium. Together, we look forward to building connections that will benefit generations to come.”

The collaboration seeks to connect Amica directly with students, alumni, and fans during high-profile collegiate sporting events.
