Ambetter to host free health fair and fall festival in Charlotte on October 25

Ambetter of North Carolina Inc. will hold a free Health Fair and Fall Festival in Charlotte on Saturday, October 25, 2025. The event will take place from noon to 3:00 p.m. at the Southview Recreation Center, located at 1720 Vilma Street. It is open to both Ambetter members and the public, with onsite registration available.

Ambetter provides health insurance plans through the Health Insurance Marketplace. Their coverage includes essential health benefits such as doctor visits, hospitalization, prescription drugs, and options for dental and vision insurance.

The event will feature family-oriented activities, including a bounce house, face painting, pumpkin decorating, a candy crawl, a costume contest, and music from a DJ. More than 20 local organizations, such as the United Way, YMCA, Charlotte-Mecklenburg School District, Urban League, and Latin American Coalition, will be present. Free health and vision screenings, as well as care kits, will be offered. Attendees can also learn about Ambetter health plans before open enrollment begins on November 1, 2025.
