During the open enrollment period starting November 1, Ambetter Health will offer health insurance plans across Nebraska for the 2026 plan year. Ambetter Health is a product provided by Centene Corporation, which serves under-insured and uninsured populations through the Health Insurance Marketplace. The open enrollment window runs from November 1, 2025, to January 15, 2026. Residents who enroll by December 15, 2025, can begin coverage on January 1, 2026.

Adam Proctor, Chief Executive Officer of Ambetter Health in Nebraska, stated: “Ambetter Health offers reliable health insurance coverage to provide thousands of Nebraskans access to quality healthcare. Our range of plans empower members to make choices that best support their health. We are especially proud that we continue to receive the highest rating in member experience from the National Committee for Quality Assurance.”

The available plans include coverage for essential health benefits such as preventive care, maternity and newborn services, pediatric care, mental health services, hospitalizations, and prescription drugs. Some options also offer dental and vision benefits.

Ambetter Health Solutions is part of Centene Corporation’s off-exchange marketplace business and delivers individual health insurance compatible with Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangements (ICHRAs). This allows employers adopting ICHRAs to provide employees with customizable coverage while helping manage costs.

Members can also access the Ambetter Perks program in Nebraska. This initiative offers discounts on wellness activities and financial tools as well as out-of-pocket prescription costs and over-the-counter items. It includes resources that promote healthy lifestyles and address social factors influencing health.

Enrollment is accessible online via the Ambetter Health website. Applicants can compare plans, check eligibility for subsidies, and enroll using mobile devices. If they cannot finish enrollment in one session, their progress is saved with reminders sent later.

The My Health Pays program enables members to earn up to $500 in rewards during 2026 by completing activities related to healthy living; these points can be used toward premiums or other qualified expenses but not pharmacy copays.

Additionally, Virtual 24/7 Care provides telehealth services so members can consult licensed providers about common illnesses without leaving home.
