Recreational vehicles, known as RVs, have been a part of the travel and housing landscape for 115 years. They have served various purposes, from camping and sightseeing to providing permanent homes for those adopting a nomadic lifestyle. A company named AC Future is now introducing innovative housing solutions to address the affordable housing crisis.

AC Future, founded in 2023, aims to “redefine mobile and sustainable living” with its range of products including a futuristic RV, trailer, and tiny home called the AI-Transformer Home. These homes are designed to be flexible and eco-friendly.

The AI-THu unit resembles an RV without wheels but offers a unique take on tiny homes. It is a 400-square-foot smart home priced at $98,000, significantly less than the current median home price in America of $402,502. The AI-THu expands from 195 square feet to 400 square feet by extending outward on all four sides. Each unit includes full-size appliances controlled by advanced AI technology that manages heating, cooling, lighting, security systems, internet connectivity, and more.

Over 300 customers have pre-ordered the AI-Transformer Home using cryptocurrency. Deliveries are anticipated to start in late 2026.

The company’s RV model is the AI-THd—a drivable version of the AI-Transformer Home. It transforms from a compact vehicle into a smart home within minutes by expanding on three sides. Introduced at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas this month, it was well-received by attendees. The AI-THd offers both electric vehicle (EV) and diesel engine options; however, pricing details are not yet available.

Additionally, AC Future offers the AI-THt—a high-tech trailer that can be attached to trucks for off-road adventures. This trailer starts at 24 feet long with 195 square feet of space and expands similarly to other models for increased living area. Although pricing is not disclosed yet for this model either, potential buyers can reserve one with a $100 deposit.

AC Future continues its mission to innovate what RVs, trailers, or tiny homes can offer consumers seeking new living possibilities.
